Smarty Software is exploring South Africa for the possible expansion

Posted: 27 Jul 2017

For the launch event of digital nomad brand Co Working Days in London, Travel Partner Solutions partnered with Wesgro, the trade development agency for the western cape & city of Cape Town in South Africa.

Digital Nomads are a growing sector in travel and the rise in popularity of Cape Town as a Digital Nomad destination is also growing. Wesgro identified London as the perfect city to start their global search for digital nomads who would love the opportunity of spending one week in Cape Town in order to experience the local start up scene and be part of the first Digital Disruption Think Tank scheduled for the 20th October 2017.

Launch event took place last month and representatives of Wesgro including CEO Tim Harris and Minister Alan Winde gave brief and interesting presentations on why Cape Town is fast becoming one of the top global destination for digital nomads with the cheap cost of living, the great climate and the developing start up ecosystem.

Smarty Software’s CMO & Co-founder, Agnes Gradzewicz was selected as one of 10 participants of this trade trip. Agnes commented: ‘I am honoured to be nominated to join this trade mission to explore start-up scene in South Africa amongst other exciting London’s entrepreneurs. We are considering South Africa, particularly Cape Town, as one of the possible places to expand Smarty Software in a near future. It is still too early to confirm this, but we are actively exploring this opportunity.’
